Background Information
The ‘Ox Close Community Garden’ project was developed as a direct result of the views of local children and young people on how to improve their local environment. The development of the ‘Ox Close Community Garden’ action group has led to a firm partnership between Ox Close Primary School and the Greenways Residents Association. We have undertaken extensive public consultation and received numerous letters of support from both local residents and a variety of community groups and associations pledging support for our garden project. We continue to apply for funding from a variety of sources.
