In April 2008, Ox Close was delighted to be awarded the Anti-Bullying Accreditation Kitemark, in celebration of work done to raise awareness and reduce incidents of bullying at our school.
Ox Close was re-awarded the Anti-Bullying Accreditation Kitemark in April 2010.
The Anti-Bullying Action Group is one of our most active groups. This group has been responsible for the introduction of Buddies, Mini-Buds, Mediators and the ‘Helping New People’ scheme. It has actively promoted anti-bullying events, ran competitions, reviewed policies and represented the school at regional events such as the ‘happier in school’ event held annually at County Hall, Durham.
